Siting nest boxes correctly is important for two reasons. Firstly, a good site will increase the
likelihood of the box being used and, secondly, will increase the chances of the young fledging
successfully. A good position will be secluded, sheltered from driving rain and too much strong
sunlight and give as little opportunity as possible for cats to ambush the occupiers! Nest boxes
should be separated from your feeding areas to avoid
